LK Takamori, Inc. was founded in 1974 by Lawrence Takamori and his son Ted Takamori. Both came from a background as licensed carpenters. Their philosophy for integrity, quality work, and craftsmanship was forged during these early years.

Today, LKT has grown to include a team of family and friends working to improve the lives of homeowners, businesses, and the community. Since 2001, after the retirement of Lawrence Takamori, LKT has been led by President Ted Takamori, supported by two of his children, Marya and Keenan. On the field, LKT employs three carpenters/handymen. We also continue to work with trusted subcontractors that align with our standards.

In 2024, LKT celebrated its 50th year of providing best-in-class general contracting services to home and business owners on Oahu.
